As the days grow longer and the weather warms, we’re excited to welcome you to another incredible summer on the water at the Friends of Belmar Harbor.
Our team has been hard at work building a dynamic lineup of programs for sailors of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re stepping onto a boat for the first time or looking to elevate your racing skills, there’s something for everyone this season.
Youth Programs & Camps
Our Learn to Sail programs remain the cornerstone of what we do, helping young sailors build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the water.
We’re also thrilled to welcome back our popular Shark River Discovery Camp, where campers combine sailing with environmental exploration and engaging onshore activities. It’s the perfect blend of education and summer fun.
Racing Development Opportunities
For sailors ready to take the next step, our Racing Clinics offer high-level instruction led by our talented international coaching team from Spain. These sessions are designed to sharpen skills and build a competitive edge.
We’re also continuing to expand our Belmar Skiff – 29er Racing Development Team, providing structured training and regatta opportunities for dedicated youth racers.
Adult Sailing Programs
Sailing isn’t just for kids, we’ve got something for adults too. Our Adult Learn to Sail programs, feature both Hobie Cats and Melges 15 sailboats, offering a fun and accessible way to get on the water. Whether you’re new to sailing or returning after some time away, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment.
