Mayor's Cup

​

has been canceled due to the covid environment causing a lack of interest from local community recreation departments.

​

the Mayors Cup is Optie regatta for local sailors.

Racing Optimist Prams representing their home town.

Sailors who attended SRSSA programs in 2021, or are members.

Limited number of young sailors submitted by the Township Recreation Departments of Avon-By-The-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Neptune City, Neptune Township, Wall Township, will race and be scored as a team.

The winning town will have its name on the base which holds the old silver cup Trophy from the old Belmar Yacht Club. The cup will be kept on display by the winning town for one year.
