Katherine Walsifer has spent her life sailing and learning about the marine environment of the Jersey Shore.

Like many of the world’s finest sailors, she began her sailing on the Barnegat bay. She is a graduate of the Bay Head Yacht Club sailing program mastering sailing Opti’s, 420s, and Bytes. 
 

Katie is a Special Education teacher in the Long Branch School District; she is currently teaching 3rd grade.  more
