Goal

The Friends of the Belmar Harbor, Inc. has been established to promote and foster the enhancement of the Shark River Basin in Belmar, New Jersey.

Projects are planned which will make the community more aware of our natural resources and bring about civic betterment and social improvement in Belmar and the surrounding communities.

This goal will be achieved through programs and events on the Shark River.  A sailing program for both junior sailors and advanced sailors has been established including an instructional component of the program.

Various social activities will be planned throughout the year to encourage community awareness and involvement.
