Membership Information

Dear FOBH member,

Summer and sailing will be here before you know it. It is time to renew your dues for membership with The Friends of Belmar Harbor.

We have been doing some reorganization in order to keep FOBH the best sailing value around. This year we will be featuring Volunteer Bonds. These time periods will be available at key times in our calendar to help keep our organization running smoothly without having to raise our membership dues. It also provides opportunities for members to get involved and meet other members that they might have missed.

Some Available Slots (up tp 6 hours):

Spring Clean up and Prep
Fall Clean up and Storage
Fleet Maintenance
Working at Events
Member of the Day on Weekends

Our new dues structure will require an additional deposit of $100 that will be returned after fulfilling your Volunteer time slot. Members who are unable to meet the volunteer requirements will be happy to know their funds will help enable the club to meet the ever increasing demands of staffing and boat maintenance.

We will also be starting initiatives to encourage our new theme “Sailing for Everyone.”
A key component for this theme is RESPECT.

Respect for our wondrous Shark River.
Respect for fellow members ensuring everyone has an opportunity to enjoy their time on the water.
Respect for our fleet and our facility enabling us all to get more trouble free enjoyment in our time on the water.

Family Membership - $175
Individual Membership - $125
Membership Volunteer Bond - $100 (refundable after fulfilling commitment)
